Due to the amazing work of the dedicated group of volunteers, a record number of 84 scholarships were awarded in 2008, and we will exceed that number by being able to award 91 scholarships for the 2009 school year.  Fund raising events held included: two Baha HaHa golf tournments, a mesquite bbq dinner, a bocce ball tournament and the successful Monte Carlo Night.  Our ever popular cook book was also published and sold. 

These events were fun as well as profitable, but without the generosity of our community, whose donations totaled over $17,000, the scholarship fund would have fallen short and some of the deserving students who have worked so hard would not have received the help they need to continue their education.
